• Bluefield Beach Club- A wonderful beach side grill serving traditional Jamaican favorites and grilled specialties.

For those that enjoy a relaxing spa experience, Sandals offers the Red Lane Spa. As one of the newest in the Sandals Resorts chain, the spa at Sandals Whitehouse is not only beautiful but offers a host of services including a full service hair & nail salon, hydrotherapy, wraps, scrubs, massages and romantic treatments for couples. Some of the more popular treatments here are the romantic couples packages, which can combine sensually indulgent bubble baths complete with champagne and fresh fruits, with exotic massage treatments designed to be experienced in the company of your lover.

For the ultimate experience try the “Love Potion #9″, three and a half hours of blissful pampering including a Scrub, island bath, Champagne, fresh fruit, botanical facial, lip service, paraffin hand treatment, a 50 minute massage and a pedicure.

Sandals Whitehouse resort captures all the elegance of a European style village, and combines it gracefully with all the rich beauty that Jamaica is so famous for. The resort features three distinctive villages; French, Dutch and Italian, each with their own unique architectural details.

The Italian village is the most centrally located, and features many of the one bedroom suites, complete with Sandals signature Butler service. Due mostly to their central proximity, these rooms tend to be some of the more higher priced on the property. For the ultimate beachfront experience choose the Italian Village suites. The Italian village sits right on the end of the peninsula here and affords the best unobstructed view.

A short ways down the beach you will find the Dutch Village, complete with it’s own pool and swim up bar. The Dutch village tends to be the quietest area on the property, and if you are looking for peaceful relaxation this is the place. While all the rooms at Sandals Whitehouse offer ocean front views, many of the rooms on the lower floors, especially those surrounding the pools have a very limited view of the water. If you desire a truly unobstructed ocean view, best bet is to stay with the upper level suites on the third and fourth floors. That being said, all the rooms here offer an exceptional view.

While the French Village is the furthest away, it offers some of it’s own unique qualities. For one this tends to be where the party crowd settles. There is always lively conversation, and pools game throughout the day. The French Village at Sandals Whitehouse resort also offers something the other two villages do not, their own beach grill and restaurant. Bluefield’s restaurant sits just steps from the ocean and on the very edge of the surrounding tropical forest. So you never have to walk far for a snack here.

While the beach is not as wide or open as in the other villages, it does have the best swimming, and you have the option of long walks along the untouched shores just past the main resort. There are more trees here than anywhere else on the property making the balcony views more obstructed (see the pictures for a better idea).

The rooms in the French village offer some of the best value, due to it’s location. I was concerned before seeing the resort that the rooms would be pushed so far back that you wouldn’t be close to the water, but this is not the case. For an inexpensive room, the French village has a lot to offer, and I would have no problem staying here. Just keep in mind what I previously mentioned regarding the view.

Sandals Whitehouse resort offers 360 different rooms and suites with 15 categories to choose from. All rooms feature refrigerator stocked with juice, soda and water. Concierge and higher rooms are stocked with liquor, and beer as well. 24 hour room service is available in any of the 32 Beachfront one bedroom butler level suites. In addition concierge rooms offer continental breakfast and rooms service from 7:00am -10:00pm

Due to the location of Sandals Whitehouse resort no transportation is provided to any other Sandals resorts. However due to the resorts grand scale and host of available amenities there is really no reason to leave.
