One thing to be aware of is that Beaches Boscobel is built into the hillside and there are a lot of stairs here. This is probably not the best resort for anyone that might have difficulty climbing stairs. A better choice would be Beaches Negril or Sandy Bay.

Beaches Boscobel is a 2+ hour bus ride from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay which has just been completely redone, and Beaches has added a new private air conditioned lounge there. The lounge offers snacks, beer and other beverages so sit back relax and have a Red Stripe while you wait for your shuttle bus. Oh, and don’t forget to get one for the road! Speaking of the road, it is finally finished after what seemed like years. Still quite a long bus ride but a lot more enjoyable now. Something to consider is that you may be able to fly into Boscobel via commuter plane and avoid the long ride. Boscobel is a tiny airport which is only 10 minutes from the resort.
Beaches provides free courtesy shuttles between Beaches Negril and Beaches Sandy Bay. However there are no other Beaches properties in this area of Jamaica. Couples (no children) can visit the 2 Sandals properties in Ocho Rios free of charge but transportation is not provided.
