The Baths on Virgin Gorda are a very unique geologic formation, which just happens to be one of the most popular attractions in the Caribbean. Virgin Gorda is the second largest of the British Virgin islands.
The large volcanic boulders which make up The Baths, have been weathered away by years and years of surf, sand and wind. These great rocks, some as large as houses, have since formed sheltered grottos through which the tides ebb and flow. The divine architecture is the stuff of dreams and film, so grab your camera and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime.
At the Baths a roughly marked pathway leads through the maze of vaulted rocks and sea. The pathway can be a bit challenging even for the young at heart, but is well worth the journey. For the not so adventurous, pristine beaches, and clear cooling waters await.
Lockers, refreshments and restrooms are available on the beach and a full service restaurant with pool is just a short walk up the stone pathway.

The pictures below were taken on the Caribbean Princess in April 2010. This was a seven day Southern Caribbean Cruise with stops in St. Thomas, Tortola, Antigua, St. Lucia and Barbados. The Caribbean Princess is a beautiful ship with a lot to offer. As the largest of the Princess fleet the ship carries 3100 passengers and boasts 900 balcony staterooms.
