February’s Cruise night promotion will focus on current cruise promotions and Caribbean Cruises. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions or sign up for our hosted Caribbean Cruise in December.
Those new to cruising will be able to meet experienced cruisers and ask questions.

Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures I took while scuba diving in Jamaica. All of these pictures were photographed in Negril, while staying at the Beaches Negril Resort in January 2010.
The scuba diving in Negril is certainly not the best in the world, or even in Jamaica for that matter but it is a great place to learn with the help of very calm waters. There has been considerable improvement in the health of the reef as well, since our last visit in 2003, after several hurricanes had left the reef in rather poor shape.
I would definitely consider Negril a great beginner location. Here you will see a number of small fish, but the larger fish are very sparse. Vibrant colored sponges add a bit of flavor, while small wrecks offer some interesting dive spots.
At Beaches Resorts, they offer all levels of scuba PADI training, with programs for kids starting at age 12. Both of my children dove for the first time on this trip, and had a blast. Resort certification, which includes an introductory scuba class is fairly inexpensive at $70 US/person, takes about 1/2 day, and allows unlimited shallow dives while at the resort. Full certification is available at an additional cost.
All the necessary equipment is included at Beaches, Sandals and many other all inclusive resorts in Negril. However, wet suit rental is often an added cost but well worth the money.
